An unsanctioned 4H show is a good place for a registrar to practice judging, getting hands-on experience. They are afforded more time to examine the rabbits and make their final decisions. They may even earn a small fee for their time while gaining experience. If they decide to become a judge some day, the club benefits by getting a new local judge.
If there is a local 4H club that hasn't diversified with a separate rabbit interest group, invite the whole club. A couple of club members could attend a 4H meeting bringing a couple of rabbits, preferably representing two different breeds. A short 15 minute talk with a Q & A period and invite to the next show. You never know when a youth will take a shine to rabbits over other livestock. Not all kids have access to the land and size building needed to house other livestock. Not to mention that rabbits are less expensive to purchase and keep. They might continue with 4H projects and also join the rabbit club.
Extra help is in short supply at shows but ideally it would be nice to have someone "host" the club members around the showroom. They could answer questions and provide information on the different breeds of rabbits, their required care and a little about rabbit showing. This might take no more than a half hour and then the 4H leader and their group could walk around the showroom and learn more of what interests them the most.
