Youngsters can change so much between 3 and 4 mos. of age. It is so much fun having someone to look at your rabbits to confirm what you are "seeing" and point out what you might not be "seeing". Good or bad. Judge's comments at shows are good but will only ever reflect what they see at the shows and not necessarily what is in your barn. Since you seldom bring the bulk of your breeding animals to a show (at least I hope not), it can narrow down your field of vision if not for the eyes of others. I have more fun going over animals with friends, in their rabbitries or at shows, than the show itself.
The really good news is that new photos were taken. Phew! Not a job to be done on one's own and not that easy with help either. We're talking Hollands after all, always in motion. I'm still getting used to a new camera and hope to cut down on the click-to-flash-to-shutterclose-time soon. That is frustrating when you have that perfect pose, press the button and wait, wait, wait for the flash to go off and shutter to click. At least with digital you don't waste all that film and $'s. Later this week there should be something on the Juniors page finally! Also got some shots of a couple of senior bucks not yet up.
