The tabletop grooming trays had their "debut". Folks thought they were pretty neat and a great price. Four sold. Check them out on my For Sale page. I'll be bringing them to future shows to sell too.
The Hollands definitely knew spring was in the air as they were more than antsy on the show table. My juniors were very young to show but I wanted to get some comments on them and table experience. Most were just 11 weeks old. I'd been working with them for the past two weeks and they were doing good for the most part. But with all the showroom noise, activity, table smells, they were totally out of their element. One of the SSD's I'd pre-sold (BBF's Nifty) was Best Opp Solid in the first show. It is nice to send a rabbit off to a new owner with a good placement like that. Quite a few placements in the top 5 but no other class winners.
Yesterday (Wednesday), the show report from Saturday was already in my mailbox! Our very experienced show secretary, Rich Ruggeri must have worked all day Sunday on finalizing the show paperwork. That is a wonderful thing and much appreciated by exhibitors. Nothing turns exhibitors off like waiting and waiting for show reports, often posting on district yahoo groups to see if they are the only ones waiting 2 mos. or more for a report. Then others chiming in to complain. Thanks Rich!
