The thin black plastic brush bristles embedded in the opposite end might be good for brushing fur off the cage sides too. Either way I'm not out much as they were a bargain at $0.39 each. Gotta love those bargains when you think outside the box.
We were browsing around a discontinued supplies area of a local hardware/lumber store and I came across a potential cage cleaning item. It is one of those old windshield scrapers. Just basically a thin piece of flat wood like a ruler with the two sided plastic scraper on the end. One side is a straight smooth scraper, the other has very hard plastic plastic teeth. I'm going to see if either is useful in cleaning cage wire. The length of it will work for getting to those back corners. The plastic end is very hard as its original use is to break up ice. Though I am convinced that sometimes Tucker's cage wire has nuggets that are harder than diamonds!
