The local Blue Seal store had a One Day Only - $2.00 off any bag of grain sale, so Jill's husband drove over and picked up some, saving me a trip, thanks! With just a few snowflakes flying, I took a detour towards the coast and picked up the bunny's oatmeal at the health food store on a round about way home. After a gas stop (yeah 3.37 vs. 3.45+ a gallon), one store errand and a take-out order, I was still able to get back home with everyone checked over and put away and in the house by 4:30.
I entered only four classes, three of them with just a single rabbit. So it was nice to take a class and get many of my solid senior bucks in the top 10. BBF's Hot Button (on senior buck page) took the BSB class in the first show. This was his 9th leg under 8 different judges so an accomplishment in itself.
A wonderful new home for BBF's second fuzzy lop born in 2013 (and hope for no more!). Thanks Becky and enjoy your new adventure!
Thanks go out to the CCRBA club for a well run show, it truly takes a village. Their next show will be held at Cumberland Fairgrounds on Sat June 28th. It is a night time show to beat the summer heat (hard to imagine that right now at 22 degrees). Mark your calendar for a summer treat.
Woke up to sunshine and about 5 inches of snow instead of the predicted 10-14. So now I truly know the meaning of "less is more"!
