Thankfully this story, sent to me by bunny friend Alison who now lives in New Mexico, has a happy ending. A Holland Lop prize winning buck belonging to an eight year old child has been returned. It was found on a college campus next to a sorority house in a pillowcase! She had shown him at a local fair winning several awards before he went missing. The tattoo required to show helped reunite them. The little girl is legally blind and confined to a wheelchair. I can't imagine how much this bunny meant to her. A video clip accompanying the news article shows her patting him and saying, "my bunny, my bunny."
